(Behind the scenes: Ok, if you notice this is for the TV Title instead of the European belt. We have essentially scraped the Euro belt, because let’s
face it the European belt division in the WWF sucks anyway. The DGW TV Title will instead closely mirror the “real” WWF belt. i.e. the first ever TV Title defense will be HHH vs Jericho)
This would be the first time ever the TV Title will be defended. First the challenge, HHH, came to the ring. It was obvious from the start that HHH would be off his “game” considering he
came out to the God awful remake of his theme music by Drowning Pool. Next the larger than life living legend Chris Jericho made his way to the arena. This match went back and forth, when
suddenly Stephanie McMahon came to the ring to assist Jericho against her soon to be former husband HHH. Hunter tried to ignore his “wife” and proceeded with the match. Jericho went for a
closeline, but was stopped by HHH. Quickly HHH kicked Jericho in the stomach and put him in a pedigree. But alias, leave it to Stephanie to ruin the match. Soon she started talking in
that “fingernails against a chalkboard” voice of hers sending everyone in the ring and in the arena to their knees grabbing their ears in pain. Jericho was the first to get up and capitalized
on the situation, performing a lionsault off the ropes and getting the assisted win.
DEAR GOD! Jericho has just defeated “The Game”
(You know, Stephanie has been off TV for a week . . .and I already miss them . . ugh . .i mean her)
