Normally at DGW, we’ll have “similar” storylines, but different dialog. To write anything new about
the real Hogan/Rock match would be an insult. It was such an amazing match. So since the WWF had interviews with their stars about the match up. I’d thought we’d do the same here at
DGW.
BDG:
Wow, I’d be the first to admit that I thought this match was going to suck. Hogan and the Rock have three moves total between the two of them. But boy was I wrong. This match was great for so many reasons, but seeing Hogan do all his old moves again made me realize exactly why I started watching wrestling in the first place. I haven’t been that pumped during a match since watching Saturday Night Main Event at Adam Mayhem’s house as a kid (I think the match was King Kong Bundy vs Hogan)
GMB: I have to say that the Rock v Hogan match was awesome. I couldn't believe the crowd. Boooos to the Great One and
the props that Hogan was getting. The match definitely surpassed my expectations. When Hogan was getting beat down and started doing the patented Hogan shake and then just jumped up and
pointed at the Rock....I think I was 10 again. I will have to say that Hulkamania is definitely on a come back. There can and will never be another Hogan in the business and I think the proof
was on Wrestle Mania X8
Mary Alice-N-Chains: I’d like to take this time to talk about what an amazing lover the “real” Big Daddy G is instead of talking about
the Hogan/Rock match. I mean, what a man. Each and every one of my carnal desires are satisfied because of this hunk of a man (heehee, I wonder if Mary Alice will catch this)
Nay-Bob: You got any more beer? What? Rock/Hogan match. Oh yeah, that rocked. Uhmmm, seriously do you
have any more beer?
