Main Event 3 Stages of Hell Match Boiler Room Match, Hell in the Cell, Ladder Match
Big Daddy G vs Grand Master B
An eerie silence feel across the arena before the main event. No, not like the silence heard during the
HHH/Jericho match at Wrestlemania 18, but more like the “calm before the storm” feeling. For 3 long years, the feud between BDG and GMB had been raging, and now, tonight, the war comes to an
end in what many are saying could very well be the last one-on-one match between BDG and GMB (yeah, right . . .something tells me by June we’ll be at it again).
So much history was behind this bitter rivalry. The feud first started three years ago when Grand
Master B made his DGW debut with Vince McMahon’s corporation. It was only fitting that now, three years later, the war would end with Grand Master B back in alliance with Vince and the recently
reincarnated nWo. (at that time, Big Daddy G was apart of the Apocalypse faction that consisted of Undertaker, Kane and the APA. Back in Smackdown 1, you couldn’t create custom stables, but rather had to play a “pre-season” to determine who was in your stable. You have NO idea how long it took to create stables back then!)

Slowly the crowd started chanting . . .B . . .D . . .G . . . B . . . D . . .G . . .and Grand Master Bater (clap
clap) . . .Grand Master Bater (clap clap). And then Big Daddy G’s music hits. The crowd erupts, standing on their feet as the champion made his way to the ring with the heavyweight belt
wrapped around his waist and a new costume!
King:
“Wow, J.R. you don’t think BDG has been sneaking around in TDL’s closet do you?”
J.R.
“I think not King. It looks to me like we’ve got the old Big Daddy G! We haven’t seen him like this since his AWWF days as Mr. Showtime!”
Big Daddy G strutted his way across the ring, showing off his belt for what could be the very last time.
Then the nwo’s music hit. Grand Master B entered the arena to a chorus of boos.
J.R.
“Dear God listen to this crowd. It’s almost deafening”

King:
“Yeah, love him or hate him J.R., but GMB deserves respect. I mean how GMB can wrestle with women’s clothing under those tights is amazing”
J.R. “oh, give me a break King”
The two men then met in the ring, eye-to-eye, face-to-face. One couldn’t help to think and compare this to
other classic stare downs like Hogan/Andre, Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart, Rock/Hogan and Austin/Rock. Then Howard Finckel announced the rules of the main event.
Finckle:
Ladies and Gentlemen. Tonight’s main event is a 3 Stages of Hell match up, consisting of 3 separate matches. The first match will be a Boiler Room match, the second will be a Hell In The Cell and the third will be a ladder match with the DGW Heavyweight belt hanging from the ceiling. The winner of the match will be the first person that wins 2 out of the 3 matches. (everyone got that? Best 2 out of 3 for the slower people reading . . . like GMB himself)
BDG and GMB continued to stare at one another until the bell rung. Both men attacked with brute like punches.
J.R.
“By God, it’s like 2 cage beasts being released from a cage, King”

The two men slowly worked their way out of the ring and the arena towards the dreaded boiler room in the
back. While in the lobby, GMB was able to get a quick chokeslam on BDG, but the ref was in the way! GMB couldn’t get to BDG in time. GMB then carried BDG to the top level of the arena
lobby. The crowd was on their feet.
It looked as though GMB was going to throw BDG through a glass window to the bottom level below. But just as
he was throwing BDG toward the glass. . . it gets reversed. BDG came alive and threw GMB right into the glass. BDG quickly took advantage of a staggering GMB and was able to perform the
“Jack” on GMB (The Jack is the same thing as a Stunner for the new people here)
J.R. “Stunner, Stunn . .. I mean Jack . . Jack”

It looked as though Big Daddy G was going to claim an early victory over GMB even before entering the Boiler Room
. . .but he slipped on the broken glass on the floor!
King: “Ha ha. Look JR, BDG just slipped on the
broken glass and fell to the lower level!”
(behind the scenes: Yes, the first Dear God moments happened within the first 2 minutes of the match. Both myself (BDG) and GMB had quickly built up
Smackdown meters. GMB was able to get his Smackdown first and choke slammed me on the stairs. He went to pin me, but the ref was in-between GMB and myself. So he couldn’t pin me in
time! Then GMB was going to throw me through the glass window at the top level of the lobby, but I reversed it, smashing glass everywhere. I was then able to use my Smackdown and stunned
GMB. But because my character has to move out of the way after the move is finished, BDG fell through the open window that I had just smashed GMB through! So, I wasn’t able to get the pin
either. DEAR GOD!)
